This is for you Mom. Complete with pictures galore!
Here's our house. It has a basement, main floor, upstairs, and a roof top. There are 5 bedrooms plus a small maids room downstairs that we use as storage. We have 6 bathrooms, 2 that never even get used. It's about 5,000 sq-ft. I always thought a big house would be so nice, but truth be told, it's too big. From top to bottom there are 62 stairs. I should come home in great shape. My washer and dryer are in the basement and all the clothes are 2 stories up!
This is a part of our front yard. The opening by the stairs is our front porch.
Our front door. Outside marble is even more slippery than inside marble!
Our front room.
On the ground level is our living room, dinning room, kitchen, my school room, and a bathroom.
To the left is the living room, the door leads to the small hallway to the kitchen, bathroom, and school room. On the right are the stairs and the dining room.
Happy baby!
The dinning room.
The school room before we took the beds out and moved the desks up.
School room after.
Door to the back yard.
The kitchen. The door goes to the back yard. All the windows have metal coverings that go up and down with the flip of a switch, like a garage door.
My only gripe about the kitchen is that there's no AC. Just a fan in the corner.
In the basement is my laundry room,
another bathroom,
and this giant room that we use for dodge ball.
The whole house is extremely loud! You can't carry on a conversation unless you are in the same room and without kids. The room is a killer!
This is the maids room. For how big the rest of the house is this room and bathroom are so small.
In the basement under the stairs. The kids love this area.
Our back yard. The brown door leads to our carport. the black door goes to the kitchen.
These stairs in the back yard lead to the boiler room. I still haven't found a way to block Hyrum from falling down there.
The upstairs have a family room, Hyrum's room, the girl's room, the boy's room, the master bedroom, and 3 bathrooms. This is the family room. The kids haven't had any real toys in almost 4 weeks, so they have to be very creative. They like to make forts in the family room.
The family room.
The family room is to the left, the master bedroom is the first door on the left, the boy's room is at the end of the hall, on the right is a small hall to the girl's bedroom, bathroom, and Hyrum's room.
The master bedroom.
Master bathroom
Messy master bedroom.
Balcony off the master bedroom.
Balcony
The boy's room. It's like anther master bedroom with a bathroom in their room.
The boy's room
The boy's bathroom
The boy's room is our safe room. It has a metal door with 2 bolts and a regular door lock.
The girl's room.
The girl's bathroom.
Hyrum's room
The stairs from the bedrooms to the roof.
The only small door in the house! It gets really hot up here.
Look Katie can touch the ceiling.
The roof!
Too many stairs for Hannah, she didn't make it!
Hyrum loves the stairs. Scary! All the flooring is hard marble and the walls are all cement. This is the most unforgiving house I've ever seen!

Thanks!! I love the tour - it does look BIG and I do not envy all those stairs. I was going up the stairs at work and counted them just to see how tough 62 stairs would be - over and over and over! You will be one strong gal when you get back to the states. LOL
