Helicopter

The kids got to go in a Black Hawk helicopter Saturday. They thought it was pretty cool. I thought it was impressive too. Josh has gotten to ride in them quite a few times so looking at them isn't so cool. He does say that it the best ride he's ever had and can't wait to go again.

Joseph and the fireworks

Saturday night Fort Irwin had a fireworks show. Yes the rest of the USA had theirs on the 4th of July but hey we live on an army post and nothing they do makes sense. Anyways we were sitting in the big grassy field in front of our house. The kids were running around with some glow in the dark sticks. This field is pretty big and they were at the other end when the first fireworks went up. They were setting them off right behind or neighborhood so they were really close and loud. Joseph and Katie both were screaming and running to Josh and I. I had no idea that Joseph could run that fast! I wish that I had it on video. His short little legs were moving sooooo fast! Ha Ha!
Katie wanted to go in the house and Joseph fell asleep before the fireworks were over!

Oh yeah, Joshua has been crawling and standing up on stuff and Sunday Katie found him half way up our stairs! Time to block them off!!

We had the missionaries over for dinner last night and Joseph was falling sleep at the table eating his chicken. He was cracking us up!!

My Silly Girl

We had gone to a little 4th of July party and the kids each got these little stamps. While waiting for the lame laser show that night, they had a blast stamping each other everywhere! The next morning Katie improved on herself. She even took the stamp and closed her eyes and stamped them. This was on Saturday and I wasn't smart enough to make sure that the ink would come off easily. Poor kids we had to soak them and scrub them hard and they still had some left over for church the next day! She looks a little scary!!
