Our first stop in Israel was Tel Aviv. We got there in the afternoon and spent the day on the beach. It was a cool day, but that didn't stop our kids from getting in the water.
Joshua found lots of shells.
Joshua loves to play with Hyrum.
The water was shallow all the way out to the rocks!
The sign back there says no swimming. I figured we were fine because we were only wading in the water!
The sand was so strange. It had spots where you'd step and the sand would suck you down. It felt like putting a finger inside a sea urchin. It was pretty cool.
I was glad I brought our floaty toys with us on this trip. The kids loved it! Hyrum enjoyed getting tugged around.
Michael turning into the Sphinx.
We ate dinner a McDonald's. It was right under our hotel and looked out over the Mediterranean Sea. Food in Israel is so expensive! The dollar burgers were over $2.00! I'm glad I packed a whole large suit case full of food so we don't have to eat out as much.
The kids were very tired when we got back to the hotel all the kids (and Josh) fell asleep!
